A review on Isolation and Identification of Native Arbuscular MycorrhizalFungi from the Rhizosphere Associated with Capsicum annuum L

Abstract

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) are indispensable for refining soil structure, plant nutrient uptake, andconfrontation to soil borne pathogens. The isolation and identification of native AMF linked to the rhizospheres for economicallysignificant solanaceous crop like Capsicum annuum L. is the main topics of this review. The frequency of AMF in solanaceous cropsystems and their symbiotic relations is very advantageous. The review describes several techniques for isolation (wet sieving, decanting, and sucrose gradient centrifugation), identification(morphological, staining, and molecular tools like PCR and sequencing) and cropping system, and abiotic factors which affect thediversity and abundance of native AMF. Results imply that native AMF are more well-organized and compatible. Keywords: AMF, Isolation and Identification, Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) Capsicum annuum L. Native AMFRhizosphere
