Counterfeit products have become a major concern for businesses and consumers, leading to financial losses, branddamage, and public safety risks. In response, the integration of QR codes and blockchain technology offers a promising solution forenhanced product authentication and counterfeit prevention. This paper explores the combined use of QR codes and blockchain tocreate a secure, transparent, and tamper-proof system for tracking and verifying products across the supply chain. QR codes, servingas digital markers, enable easy scanning and retrieval of product information, while blockchain’s decentralized and immutablenature ensures an auditable and secure record of each transaction and movement of the product. Together, these technologiesprovide a reliable mechanism for consumers to verify product authenticity and for businesses to protect their brand integrity. Thesurvey reviews current advancements in the field, evaluates key challenges such as scalability, privacy concerns, and the costs ofimplementation, and discusses opportunities for future innovation. A case study of a real-world implementation is also presented, demonstrating the practical benefits and limitations of the system. This research concludes that the integration of QR codes withblockchain has the potential to revolutionize product authentication, significantly enhancing trust in global supply chains. Keywords: QR codes, Blockchain technology, Product authentication, Counterfeit prevention, Supply chain security, Decentralizedverification, Brand protection, Immutable ledger, Transparency in supply chain, Anti-counterfeiting technologies, Consumer trust,Blockchain in logistics, Digital product authentication..
