Abstract

Abstract:- In today’s fast-growing World of everyday advancement in technology and innovations which replaces theconventionally used methods to improve the standards and comforts of humans. In this project an approach to replace theconventional usage of mouse as an input to the computer for the movement of the cursor with the appropriate movement of theeyeball of the human is done. Human computer interface is an implementation of the vision-based system for eye movementdetection. Human-Computer Interface (HCI) is focused on use of computer technology to provide interface between thecomputer and the human. This project can be analyzed with the help of dlib facial recognition and detection software, pythonand OpenCV as a software platform. This project is mainly concentrated around predicting the eyeball movements. This is doneusing computer vision algorithm to identify the facial landmarks from which the detection of eyeball movement is possible.Project also gives an alternate way for making communication between the human and computer to the individuals those whohave impairments and give them an equivalent space to be an element of Information Society. Future scope of the project isvast as it can be either extended for smart home automation which works with eye ball movement or a complete wheelchairwhich can be operated by the disabled person only with the eyeball movement, and many more examples of such innovationscan be implemented. This research aims at making operations of a conventional mouse using the human eye i.e., movement ofcursor on the screen, clicking a button, scrolling up and scrolling down.KEYWORDS: Eyeball Moment, Human-Computer Interactions, Open CV, Raspberry Pi, Cursor Control
