PHYTO-NEMATICIDAL ACTIVITY OF CASSIA TORA L. ON ROOT-KNOT NEMATODEMELOIDOGYNE INCOGNITA RACE II ASSOCIATEDWITH 

Abstract

Abstract: Among the all nematodes plant parasitic nematodes are major harmful anddestructive pest in agricultural plants so present investigation selected forstudy.  The present study includes thephyto-nematicidal activity of Cassia toraL. on root-knot nematode Meloidogyneincognita race II associated with tomato, brinjal and okra. For the present study,the Cassia tora L. leaves extracts were diluted with 2% DMSO (DimethylSulphoxide) to prepare concentration of (1mg/1ml). Observations were made fordeath time. Time of mortality was noted in 24 hours and 48 hour time intervals.
